The more I listen to our demo, the more I like it. The few technical glitches can’t conceal the fact that Jeremy and Richard are really good songwriters.

Since we’re less than a week away from our next gig, we practiced for a couple of hours on Sunday evening. Naturally, we concentrated on the new songs, since those are the ones we’re least familiar with. We’re so clever. We practiced our two new covers and Jeremy’s three new songs. We didn’t get to “Revolution Day,” but that’s okay because we pretty much have that one down. Except for me. Wednesday we’re going to go straight through the setlist, twice if we have time. I’ll let you know.

At the party we’re opening for another band called “Barbeau.” One of the reasons this is good is that between the two bands, we just about have one decent PA system. So we’re going to be doing some speaker sharing. See, that’s why I love this scene. Everybody helping each other out.
